"As the time gets closer, the more anxious I get and wonder if I've made a terrible mistake spending all this money and making all these plans because I'm sure I won't make it because my poor body is a wreck, and that I'm crazy to do this alone, and what if I get lost in the Pyrenees (or...
Good strong life affirming positive post Annie - and don't worry about worrying, it is part of the anticipation. If you knew you could do it it wouldn't be a challenge (you can, you will). Everyone has those anxieties just before 'going over the top'.
All is well.
Thinking about it - as you will be running. It is not uncommon to come across dropped or left items on the Camino. You might find yourself the 'lost property angel', picking up hats and water bottles and poles leaning against the odd tree and dropping them off as you pass
Thank you for...
True, a good average - though the daily costs can be quite a lot less. If you live simply then you don't have to buy coffee or cold drinks or ice cream. You don't ever have to buy a meal in a cafe, nor wine.

Now is the time to really get the weight down. You will read over and over about only taking what you need - but almost everyone packs what they think they will need...
All is well. Whatever you plan your own Camino will be completely different from those plans ... if you don't have Spanish you will discover mime - if it is important then a translating pilgrim will appear at your shoulder .. all is well (except - weigh everything!!!!!!)
Hi, welcome to the forum. You will get lots of good advice ..
the day before you go lay out all your kit and all your money - then take half the kit and twice the money
How absolutely wonderful! Hope you have a wonderful Camino.
could I suggest that the pushchair is one of those with the large wheels as a lot of the camino is rather rough ground.
I like your style Kenseph - way to go!
I met an Irishman from the Republic last year, Dublin I think. He was wearing a kilt and a beret with a shamrock in it (plus other garments of course). Low grade pack, no designer gear, his boots seemed leather ex-army - he was very happy and...
