Can I suggest that you take a taxi 28KMs to St Jean Pied De Porte and commence your Camino from there. It is unlikely that you will be able to walk over the Pyrenees via the Napoleon Route due to snow and or foul weather but to walk from St Jean is special, even if it is on the alternative...
Check the weather before you go ..... possibly find out how wet it has been as that will determine how sticky the ground is likely to be. There has been a huge amount of rain and storms in the UK and I would not be surprised if Spain got the same weather
