April vs May on the Camino Frances

Barb To sum it up: colder vs. busier. I left St. Jean PdP on April 11 last year and had many cold nights and days in the first weeks. And lots of rain and snow! No regrets. Buen camino!

Please talk me off the ledge

One step at a time. That is how everyone walks the Camino. You can do it! Approach fellow pilgrims and locals for help on anything. People are very willing to help. The worst thing to do is stew in your own thoughts. Reach out and talk to people around you. You reached out here, so you can do...

Ha! Only a Texan would describe 35 acres as 'little' !! You may be surprised by changes to your life. The Camino tends to do that. I wish you the very best. Buen Camino

In just a few weeks. Living the dream

Hello Fran I flew from Vancouver at the same time last year. Stayed at Borda. Enjoyed a wonderful meal there and met pilgrins there who became informal companions over most of the journey. Trip of a lifetime! Buen Camino!!

    April 2022

Greetings from Vancouver Island! I am planning to begin the same trek at about the same time as you. May we cross paths and maybe break bread or quaff a beer together. I have stopped reading travelogues 😐
