Lourdes to St Jean Pied de Port
Hi Falcon269, I walked from Lourdes to SdC in Sept 2016. It added 7 days compared with starting in SJPdP. It was definitely quiet but I did not feel as if it was remote. Via Tolosana from Arles in late August/early September 2016...
I will be walking through SJPdP (not through Jaca) and then continuing on to Santiago. Arles was a very tempting starting point for some reason, but it would add another 4 or 5 weeks to my already extended 7 week leave from work and wife... so, not this time around!- NicMen

Flights booked! SJPDP Sept 6th
Hi John. Unlike you I'm a true newby! I booked my flights a few days ago too and, although starting from Lourdes, I'll be arriving in SJPdP on 6th Sep and leaving the following morning (if I survived the first week that is!). We may bump onto each other perhaps. Buen Camino!- NicMen
