    Just make sure you understand that the pass over the Pyrenees won't be open until the end of April so you will need to go via the other route past Valcarlos.

    My experience of tour companies is that they tend to choose a 1*/2* hotel, whereas booking private rooms at albergues give you the additional comfort, alongside the pilgrim ethos. It's good to see their choices and give you an idea of budget though.
