Welcome to the Forum @Tahni !
May is a wonderful month for Camino Portugues with flowers in bloom and the nature is very green.
I will start from Lisbon May 9 by myself (walked from Porto on the coastal route before).
Bom Caminho.
That´s what I did in April 2012.
29 days to SDC (raining, snowing, hailing 23 out of 29 days).
So i stopped walking in Santiago - not in Finisterre.
Buen camino :)

Hope to see you en route :)

I am with Laurie peregrina2000 here - I always bring a light- weight sleeping bag (400g) - mine is down and treated with Permethrin and keeps the bed bugs away.
Welcome to Forum!
Your blog is very interesting. I can see, hear, smell and feel the camino by reading it!
Next camino with your spouses?
The camino is an incredible experience.

30 to 35 days is very doable - you will be walking quite long days though with 25 - 30 km each day. Quite many pilgrims walk less than that...
Welcome to the Forum!
If you take a look at the Camino calendar you can see that quite many other pilgrims are going to start from SJPP around the same day than you. You are going to be in good company!
Buen camino,
