Hi Marla,
In 2017 I flew from CA to Madrid, then on to Pamplona. I took a taxi from Pamplona Airport, spent the night at an albergue that I had reserved before leaving home, then took the bus to SJPDP the next morning. I booked the flight to Pamplona at the same time I booked to Madrid. Very...
Buen Camino, Dan. Happy planning. It will be a challenge, but perseverance will pay off. From my own personal experience and challenges (although nothing compared to yours), I found Camino angels all along the way more than willing to share of themselves and help me when I needed it most...
Hi. Hopefully we will meet up somewhere. You will be a day ahead of me - maybe two since I have reservations in Orisson. But all things are possible. Buen Camino to you also.
Hi all. After five years in the making, I am leaving LAX (Los Angeles) on May 31st, 2017, arriving Madrid/Pamplona June 1 to walk my first Camino. Plan to spend night in Pamplona and find my way to SJPdP June 2, spend night in SJPdP and start walking June 3. Hope to meet up with others...

Your age is definitely not a...
You're right, it was no "accident" that lead you here. It was also no accident that you weren't aware of the Camino before. It decides when you're ready and you are clearly ready for it now. Your enthusiasm and commitment are palpable and reading your posting gave me goosebumps as I thought...
Thank you so much. This website has been invaluable thus far. I read it all - for advice, encouragement, and the pure thrill of seeing what others have to say. I know the time will fly by, as other marvelous expectations have come to pass, and I'm looking forward to the day I make this walk a...
Hi, my name is Bonnie and I live in California. Earlier today I posted an introduction saying that my heart felt goal is to walk El Camino de Santiago in Aug/Sept 2013. Then I started reading the many comments from other class of 2013 members, so I wanted to add my name to the list. Stating...
Hi everyone, my name is Bonnie and I live in Camarillo, CA. I just read in a post that no one finds this site "accidently". Up intil I read that, that is exactly what I was going to say. I was researching sleeping bags and found this site. It was no "accident". I signed up immediately...
