let's not confuse language with communication - we can use the same language and not communicate what we mean or understand each other without use the same word system.
understanding via words is easily overrated. Listening has worth beyond talking.
Mere functional nouns, a smattering of...
Be encouraged - many have travelled thus. The time would have been when it would, logically, have been not worthy of note.
Your walking experience stands you in good stead.
When we were cycling the route - in Cacabelos - we met a cyclist returning home to Holland. His pace was unrushed...
Re: FINALY i met a forum member,
after walking and cycling the camino, we reflected that it was incredible that we met on the camino someone we had met 3 years previously on the camino over supper in the same restaurant.
when we returned from living in Spain we moved to a small fishing village...
Leon itself is marvellous but, as wisely stated above, the exit and subsequent strethches are anything but glorious. I would aim to linger going through the Maragateria, the hills, go visit the Valle del Silencio and spend longer enjoying the sumptious cuisine of the Bierzo around Cacabelos...
Well, you have so much on your side, so many excellent choices.
The Camino won't go away, still be there ady for you when you are ready for it.

I'm preparing for my 4th cycle of the camino - this will be my second on bike.
There is a wealth of information here that will satiate your desire...
Excellent post - so much that many of us can instantly connect with.
I wish you the very best - it will be so fulfilling to undertake the way and reach Santiago but you may well find that the journey will not end there, it has been with you for so long already.
I am sure that time, tide and circumstance will converge and it will happen when it best should.
Neither the camino nor the yearning for it will disappear.
To undertake selected parts sounds enticing.
It is, after all, the journey not the destination that is the quest.
You are already there.
Hi there.
well, truth be told my life collapsed into anxiety, depression and socio-phobia.
10 years.
i obsess, worry, think and reflect time without end on detail after detail of so many choices.
I walked the camino and cycled it as well - 3 time but all before these changes.

I hope that this is appropriate and that it fits here.
I have walked and cycled the Camino 3 times and now, 2 decades or so, major non-physical health problems - disability, twin sons and a very changed life later I am preparing to return.
An emotional thought.
As a full time parent time is not...
