First Walk.
I recently finished a 50 day Camino - 48 days walking, and ended up with a compostella showing 1057km. It might be a tall ask to do the route you have planned, but sounds like you are entering it with an open mind so it's all good. I started in Irun on May 1st this year. I stayed at the albergue de peregrinos on Irun, and I would suggest starting there. Use Google Maps on a phone and simply put in albergue de peregrinos, and it will take you there. It's a very well marked path, and actually you should even see waymarking...- nickpellatt

Hi Lucy I did book accomodation in advance, we were a group of 7, but actually we didnt need to. the places had more than enough bed space for us ... we started walking on Easter Sunday, and I thought it would be busier. Lucy - The Easyjet flight out on Saturday was early, we were in the city by noon, and when coming back from Finesterre by bus, we were also back by noon. Two afternoons is perhaps enough to explore Santiago I think.- nickpellatt
