Lightning strikes
Ooen fields and thunderstorm are allways an unpleasant combination. Once i went under a small bridge, when a storm suddenly came om. A muddy experience, so had to do some thorough rinsing by a little water pump before entering Los Arcoa 😁.- Petsu

Exactly so. Problems with brown bears come, if they are wounded or you stumble on them so that they have not seen/heard,/smelled you arrive - especially, if you end up between a mother and its cubs.- Petsu

My father spent in the 50's and early 60's a lot of his work days in the vast forests of northeastern Finland and southern Lappland. There were a lot of brown bears in the area that time, but he never saw one. He was pretty sure, though, that a lot of bears saw him 😁.- Petsu
