    I opt for non waterproof shoes, my feet breathe much better and it dries If gets wet, with that said I carry no less then six pairs of wool socks (thins) and a minimum of twice a day I let my feet air out put on clean socks and move on :)

    Most of the time theft is done to target of opportunity since most of the products is illegal to carry as you mentioned, a loud whistle and a walking stick will normally "take care" of non-armed situation :) zzotte

    Wayfarer I kind like that, I current use roadid it's a wrist bracelet and an ID number in the back that emergency personnel can access can use it if you are say unconscious or can't answer questions I have use it for years hiking and running the draw back is that cost around $9 per year. Zzotte
