Madrid to Burgos by bus or by train?

Hi. Of Course. It took me 23 days to get from Burgos to Finisterre. I walked long days from Santiago to Finisterre so it took 21 days to Santiago I think. To me seeing the sea was really the culmination of my Camino so I'm so glad I continued past Santiago. I didn't take any days off (though...

Madrid to Burgos by bus or by train?

Hi Yes I took the bus from Madrid to Burgos. It was quite simple. I didn't book in advance because I was worried that if my plane was delayed I could miss the bus. Turns out my plane was delayed so i made the right decision. I ended up having to wait a couple of hours at the burgos airport but...

Madrid to Burgos by bus or by train?

Hi I did that trip a few weeks back and it really is quite easy. As you've read you just have to get on the shuttle to get to terminal 4 from whichever terminal you land at. The shuttles are clearly marked and it's easy. Then down in the ground floor of terminal 4 you can buy your ticket at the...

    Travelling from Canada

No sorry. The only direct flight I saw was the transat flight. Good luck!

    Travelling from Canada

Sorry I forgot to give that info. I fly out of montreal end of May and come back June 24th. It is with KLM. I booked it straight through the KLM site but used skscanner.ca for a week or two to check prices. Air transat never got that low for price and they only have one flight a week. Klm was...

    Travelling from Canada

I was able to get a montreal to Madrid (return from Porto) for $800 even. It would have been cheaper to fly to and from Madrid but for just a bit more I liked the idea of Porto being so close to Santiago and getting to see it.

    quick layover in zurich

Thanks for this. It<s helpful advice. How do you not check your backpack if you have liquids or are bringing a pocket knife or something similar in your pack? Is that not limiting?

    quick layover in zurich

Thanks both. I would be booking it all at the same time through skyscanner (the deal is through expedia i believe). the first flight is air canada and the second swissair.

    quick layover in zurich

Has anyone ever flown through Zurich? I have found a good price on flights from Montreal to Madrid and then return from Porto to Montreal but the zurich layover is only 45 minutes so just wondering if that will be enough time to get my flight to madrid. I like the combo of coming into Madrid...

    Travelling from Canada

Hi Jane, I am leaving from Montreal at the end of May. Wondering if you went into a CAA centre or did it over the internet? That's a great price.
