Backpack as Checked baggage
I have removed the top flap/bag from my pack to reduce overall size so that it makes carry on restrictions. The top bag can be combined with or used as your second, hand held piece of carry on. Also have used a smallish duffle bag to enclose the pack for tidy carry on or checked and then shipped...- Gillean
