Thanks, like others, I seem not to be able to get the Renfe site to co-operate. Rail Europe is quoting 106E which seems high with respect what others are saying. What kind of price do you thgink I will get if I just show up?
Hey whariwharangi, thought I would run this by you again. I now know that I am landing in Madrid, with Lufthansa,on march 9 at 11:40.
So, I want to catch the train to Seville asap. So I need to know which station I am leaving from, at what time and how to get there. I assume I am going to...
THank Ltfit. I will check out the train. I wont sleep on either one. The overnighters wont be filled so maybe l'I'll
just make up my mind between cervezas. :)
I may in fact take the train, but it looks like I'm covered one way or another. I did not know the train station was so close though. Thanks very much.
Thanks very much Peregrina2000-You're bang on with :"but it sounds like you don't want to spend a night in Madrid, just arrive and get on the plane." I'll probably opt for the bus as I know where the station is and it worked well for me last year (to Bilbao). My flight from Madrid is with...
Hello, I'll be finishing Via De Plata in mid April. I have a flight home on April 19th, flying out from Santiago. The flight leaves at 12:40. What are my travel/time options for leaving Santiago to arrive in good time to catch that flight. There is a Ryanair flight that works but I don't feel...
Thanks Whariwharangi-- When add up the cost of all of these options, I am probably better off to suffer through
the stopover flight.... will be faster and much cheaper in the long run. The train from Madrid to Seville (or a flight)
wont cost a whole lot I imagine. Can I catch the train from...
Yes, I probably will succumb and fly to Madrid-the issue is that I cant get a direct flight there, whereas I can to Paris. I'm not a fan of stopovers, but in this case it probably is the best thing to do--besides I like trains.
Just trying to work out the logistics for a Via de Plata camino. Anyone have any suggestions for an economical, quick or interesting way to get to Sevilla from Paris--would arrive at CDG about 11 am, mid-March.
Thanks.
