    Travel to Ponferrada

Glad it worked out with your bus ticket purchase. We just got home from finishing the Frances a week ago. Coming into Acebo was memorable because it was so hot and I found it difficult. This was one of two times that my daughter and I (and other pilgrims we were walking with) ran out of water...

    Travel to Ponferrada

If you see the post above, my husband and son took the bus from Madrid airport to Ponferrada. I highly recommend the bus. Normally I prefer trains but the bus in this case I think will be the easiest, most time efficient option. There are renovations happening on the train line that takes you...

    Travel to Ponferrada

My husband and son arrive in Madrid (middle of July) to meet me and my daughter in Ponferrada. Their flight lands at 7:30 a.m. T4, and there is a bus at 10 a.m. They will have one piece of luggage to retrieve from baggage claim and then I am assuming a wait in a customs line. My question is...

    Getting into Paris from CDG?

Not sure where you are staying "near Gare Montparnasse" but I thought my hotel was "near" there (it is, sort of at 2 miles away..OOPS! lol!) but I will be staying at Hotel Du Mont Blanc which had been recommended on the forum for its location for site seeing and it is actually a 2 minute walk...

    Getting into Paris from CDG?

Oh! Thanks so much! I was actually looking at a different site (ouibus) This one is much more straightforward. My friend who visits Paris often suggested the train, but I am now thinking I will take the bus. I am very grateful that you started this discussion :)

Were you able to take a look at the times, price etc. or navigate the site better than I seem to be able to :) or are you just going to wait?

    Getting into Paris from CDG?

or the message is that "no journeys are available" Maybe mid June is too far in advance?

    Getting into Paris from CDG?

@trecile, have you booked your bus ticket? I am having trouble with their website. Have you? I can't seem to figure out how to choose a one way option and then even if I pick a 'fake' return date I keep getting the message that the bus does not go this route.

    Getting into Paris from CDG?

Trecile, I am curious if there a reason that you know of that the bus might be preferable to taking the train? I was thinking of taking the train 10.30€ RER B to Montparnasse and I think it takes about 50 minutes. I am also going from CDG to Montparnasse in June and I have been meaning to look...

    bus from Muxia to Santiago

Check this thread below, Jenine. I decided that a taxi will be the best option for me and maybe if you find others to share with it will be just as affordable as the bus for you. It will actually be a minivan because we are 4 people so maybe you can ask about transporting the bike, @frogger...
