LIVE from the Camino Norte vs Frances - Yikes!
Merged from the Norte with the Frances today, I have literally seen more pilgrims on the first 6 miles of the merged trail than I saw on the rest of the Norte. And I swear if I hear 'buen camino' one more time today someone is going to get hurt.- Tartrazine

Expensive Accommodations!
Given the Albergue is closed, as are all municipal albergues, Irun (and for me Zauratz) just didn't have any budget accommodation when I stayed at the end of July beginning of August. I arrived in Santander today, and other than those two hotspots I'm finding a mix of Albergues and hostels...- Tartrazine

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere. I Will be in Irun next Wednesday the 28th of July, starting the Norte on Thursday the 29th of July. I'm trying to find out where I can pick up a credencial on the Wednesday (I'm there all day as I actually arrive late on the Tuesday) given the Albergue...- Tartrazine
