Stayed at casa de Trinidad convent in Laredo. Good albergue with most rooms only 2 or 3 beds but....they have a 10pm curfew. Most restaurants don't open until 9pm so it is a bit rushed. My experience of current albergue situation on the norte.... It is close to capacity with all the municipal albergues still closed. Albergues open on norte route april/may 2022
There is a live spreadsheet for the Norte mentioned elsewhere on the forum (link below). I am starting the Norte on Tuesday and aim to walk ideally 25-35km per day. Liner or sleeping bag
I carry both so can use either or both. I am never too cold or too hot in any weather. 400g is 8% of my 5kg pack but it is also <.5% of my body weight.- simoneva
