    I highly recommend getting the booster ASAP, and get a letter from your doctor that you have recovered. I would even get a PCR test 72 hours before departing.

    Right now it is 72 hours to fly from Spain. If you are going to Lisbon, I'm not sure, but my husband got his test at the Santiago airport.

    About 5K as I recall. In 2016 and this time, my husband walked the distance after reaching Zubiri. In 2018, we took a taxi from Zuberi, after lunch, to Akreeta.

    My husband (U.S.) is on the Frances now. He booked rooms prior to leaving in SJPP, Roncevalles (the hotel), Akreeta (just past Zubiri - shown in the movie, The Way), and Pamplona. Once he got into Spain, he booked ahead the next three nights using booking.com. So far, he has not had an issue...

    My husband is doing his third Camino Frances now. He flew from JFK in New York last Wednesday on American Airlines. He had to wear a mask and be vaccinated to board the flight.
