    Camino Ingles in 12-15k stages?

Remember there is always a taxi from a somewhere specific to accommodation and back to that point in the morning. Naron (12k), Pontedueme (17k), Mino (10k), Betanzos (10k), restaurant Meson Museo near Presedo (12k) and get a taxi to/from somewhere nearby (a few only a few kilometres away - see...

Anyone walking the Ingles at Easter?

The route up the hill is easier now since it was redirected recently. Before it was a bit gruelling on a hot day.

Anyone walking the Ingles at Easter?

Ah touching comments guys. I feel all loved up now! :) Unfortunately Elkland the avatar is a fair representation. My father was a good singer but not very handsome and I didn't get the singing genes. :( Yep, will call in Nate. Too much, too much Arn! Buen Caminoes kiddos.

    September Ingles

Thanks all. So sweet. I know I haven't been posting much as I have been busy at University (The problem with trying to do a 3 year degree in 19 months). I have only managed time on the El Salvador this year and had not intended any more (using the summer break to catch up for the missed...

    September Ingles

Third time. Guess I must like it! First time was in September 2012. I went again in 2016 and was amazed at how many more people there were that September! Hope it isn't more crowded this time. Fingers crossed. I have not walked from A Coruna before so I will do that to warm up ? Then starting...

LIVE from the Camino Albergue de Bruma closed 'temporarily'?

When Bruma overflows they use the sports hall. Maybe that is available?

    Bus from Santiago to Ferrol

ditto Doug. I have twice done this and never had to wait long. The interesting part is knowing that sometimes you can almost reach out and touch the Camino, that that land of to the right is where you will be walking!

Camino Ingles - the thought of it feels a little like cheating :)

My first Camino was the lovely Ingles. I saw it as an opportunity to test myself To see if I could do this pilgrim thing and if so then walk the Frances the following year. Well I loved it so much that I was well and truly hooked! I had given myself a week afterwards to base myself in SDC and...

Narón and Neda - not the shortest way to Pontedeume?

There was no implied criticism Heidi, just an observation for the general thread. If you are time constrained maybe consider walking from A Coruna? If a Compostela is important to you perhaps consider the new ruling allowing you to supplement your A Coruna Camino with a qualifying walk at home...

Narón and Neda - not the shortest way to Pontedeume?

People walk the Camino for many reasons. It would be fair to say that there is no "actual" Camino as with the passage of time the modern world has changed the landscape such that it would be impossible to recreate the path of old. All marked paths haves had to make compromises. They find...

Changes to rules for the Compostela from A Coruña

I guess Bruma is going to have to expand a lot!

    Amazing Camino Ingles

It was busy when I walked early September last year. When I walked it in 2012 there were only a handful at Bruma and just two girls each day before that.
