Are 60 to 70 km per day cycling achievable? Logrono to Astorga
Here is what I am planning -- SO FAR... The BIKE days we can afford to slow down / shave if we need to - OR start walking earlier...OR not walk as far from Melide Last time I walked it we walked 100km the last two days - and we walked from Melide to SDC in one day - 60Km -- took all day - 3...- BallVice

This is all great information!!! I think I have found a place to get bikes - that provides a turn-key service. But this does raise MORE questions... IS this the same route... I found this in one of the other forums... Torres del Rio to Ciruena 64.1km 4,057' gain 5.3 Ciruena to Burgos...- BallVice

This is an older thread - but i wanted to ping the forum once again... My 16y/0 daughter and I depart for Bordeaux on the 3rd of June and we return from Madrid on the 23rd. We are walking - not doubts about that - but I had an epiphany tonight --- WHY NOT rent a bike in Pamplona - continue on...- BallVice

This is what I love about this forum :-) I walked the Camino 2 years ago -and am taking my daughter June 3rd to do it again -- -she turned 16 this will be a breeze for her. We can only spare the 3rd through the 23rd - and I was plotting where to go - what not to miss - and was killing myself...- BallVice
