I have the Osprey Sirrus 34L and love it. I’m about 5’4” and purchased the small size but realized it didn’t fit correctly so returned it for a medium. I love the fit and the trampoline back as well as all the pockets.
I have walked twice in Sept/Oct. Most recently I experienced very hot temperatures on the Meseta, e.g. 28C. The key is layering. I had two wool long sleeve T-shirts and one short sleeve athletic wicking T-shirt. I also had 2 pairs of quick drying Mountain Hardware pants, one of which had...
I use Wigwam, Darn Tough and Icebreaker. They are all wool or wool blend and very comfortable. Each brand comes in a variety of thicknesses and lengths. But IMHO wool is the best!
I am a bit like @trecile in that I put Hikers Wool on my blister prone areas before blisters even get a chance to develop. I have two toes that tend to rub together (an age symptom maybe 🙁) but the hikers wool is really effective. I have had the odd blister but I never cut them open; I just wrap...

I would definitely advise to avoid cotton. It doesn't wick moisture from your body when walking, it takes forever to dry and it's heavy. So, no cotton shirts or socks. Wool, wool, wool! For blisters, I used a wonderful product called Hikers Wool from New Zealand. At the first sign of any...
Last year on the CF, I used a Lush shampoo bar and 1/2 a conditioner bar for hair and body. I also took Sea to Summit Pocket Laundry Wash dissolving tissues. As others have mentioned, get the box for the Lush bars. All worked really well.
Because of issues with my back on the CF last September, I bought a small, carry-on size suitcase in Pamplona and had it shipped daily to the next albergue. I then carried my backpack which was very light containing only my supplies for the day. Worked like a charm and the transport service was...
