Depends on many factors.
It's the one excess item I carry on all hikes, a spare dry set of insoles.
Have used the following brand consistently for well over a decade.
Sorbothane Shock Stopper Double Strike Insoles
Agreed they are life savers, especially for once off DIY jobs, and most are open 7 days a week. If your interested in quality go somewhere else 😋
Like everything else in life, you get what you pay for.
The mind can get tired and forgetful on the Camino, so prefer to keep all valuables in a safe location which can be checked regularly, so inside chest pocket of a trail or light hoodie/jacket. Alternatively a silk undercover wallet would suffice.

Never tried "toe socks" as they are not available in local stores.
Would you recommend injinji toe socks (or equivalent) only as liners to an oversock?
In your opinion, would a single pair of normal toe socks also provide enhanced protection against toe blisters.
Thank you @tgz. Compared to other walking shoes you have tried, are the Topo Athletic &/or Altra a similar fit (length wise) for the same shoe size. Cannot purchase either model/brand of shoe locally and need to take my chances online. 😟
