Used a light-weight high-quality walking pole for the first time last year on the Via Francigena. Just for a day as I was delivering it to a pilgrim who had left it behind. What a revelation! All future caminos for me will be with a single pole.
Hi, I use an Italian Vodafone sim card that I cannot reload in Vodafone shops in Germany (for example). However, this issue is circumvented by using the Vodafone.it website that has an option to easily reload my account. I suspect each country-specific website offers the same facility.
Men are different to women in this respect it seems, but I agree that some of these items could be painlessly discarded, such as powder/body lotion/hand sanitiser. Unless of course the OP has a genuine reason for packing these things. Another suggestion above recommends trousers that convert...

3.5 is exceptional but 5kg is good. Mine was between 5.5-6kg including some water, albeit without a sleeping bag, which in future I will not forsake. Running of the veritable 'smell of an oily rag'. I used everything, and lacked nothing except a air of running shorts that I will in future...

Endorse that. The baseball caps do not protect the face from the sun sufficiently. I will be additionally taking an broad-brimmed hat on future caminos.
Nice photo, by the way!
When I read the OP I thought it was an ad. The link to the Osprey website tipped me. But many respondents have taken it at face value, so maybe I was being cynical (and I'm an Osprey user myself).
