    Wear wide running shoes. No need for boots. Merrell makes a wide, waterproof low cut if you feel you need a waterproof shoe.

    I bought some at Decathalon in Burgos. In Portugal, I bought a brand called Mueller and it stuck much better than the KT brand I'd been using. I'd say bring two rolls if you're doing the CF.

    I wear Hoka's and I love them. But they should be at least a size bigger than your normal size. If you're wearing a toe sock liner, maybe a size and a half. Injinji toe sock liners are my favorites.

    I agree. I've tested both the Injinji light and midweight wool toe socks by themselves and I prefer their "crew liner" under a normal light wool sock. Like walking on a cloud!
