I am wearing the Hoka Kaha on the Camino Mozarabe right now. There are sections of the trail that are rocky and I feel those rocks, to my surprise, given all of the cushioning. My partner has Han Wag boots but feel the stones as well. Both of us have A-B flexibity footwear. That said, the Kaha...
I have had many pairs of Hokas (Sky Kaha for long walks, running shoes for everything, sandals, and recovery sandals) and never had this issue, so you really should contact the company and request a replacement pair.
A sleeveless light silk or satin nightie that weighs very little and feels like nothing on (which is my usual preference). I also take a sarong, which works as a cover over the nightie (when needed), shawl, towel, picnic blanket, privacy screen, bed sheet, and more.
Very helpful replies, as I have just bought my second set. They are lovely poles to use, but not durable. I am keeping my first set, which has damage to the coating protecting the interior cables (sorry, not a tech precise description). However, I cannot really collapse the first set anymore...
Another option. You can open and raise it from the bottom, but the rest stays put unless you decide to remove it completely. https://en.bergstop.com/products/silkliner
Bondis have more cushioning. However, if it's cushioning that you are after, give the Hoka Sky Kahas a try... they are my all-time favs for long walks. I believe that you can buy them in high or low cut.
Any products that are largely water based can go (except water itself). For example, take a small combo shampoo/conditioner/body cleansing bar and dry toothpaste. They are easy to find these days, particularly in bio stores.
Love my Hoka Sky Kaha's, which are a higher cut for ankle support. Recently bought my second pair and hoping that they hold up as well as the first did.
I am far from an expert on shoes, but perhaps you could check out trail running shoes? I am impressed by the improvements in cushioning in recent years, initiated by Hoka. Very light weight, thick and cushiony foam is being integrated into a number of brands, which will be particularly...
I have used the camomile shampoo for many caminos. It is a small puck made to fit in the round tins. No problem with mushyness, unlike other lush soaps. I never take it out of the tin. I only brush my wet fingers over the top to get the lather that I need. Great for hair, face and body.
The narrow cut is best, even on medium-large women. Colour is your choice. I wear the lighter colour skirts all the time and the dark stay in my closet. The red snd sand colours are not quite as depicted. Love the dkirts!
Oh, and sarongs.... Find a large long piece of fabric, but of a light cotton. It is your after shower wrap, shawl, towel, privacy shield to hang on your bunk (when you are in the bottom bunk ), picnic blanket, someting to wear when everything is in the wash, protective sheet, and much more. It...
I agree with all of the positives assessments. Buy the fancy German model that you pictured, in the silver reflective fabric. I bought the telescopic one that compresses nicely, although it doesn’t have the tilt of the full size model.
Today is the last day of the sale, which includes a limited number of colours, but purple haze is among them. The regular cut does have a lot of fabric (which I like), but I am going to try the slim fit this purchase. BTW, Macabi is a one person company, and the owner, Mike, has been terrific...
