Multipurpose shoes for shower and town?
Love my Berks. Super lightweight like crocs but I imagine the foot bed is more anatomically designed than crocs. Super useful when your primary footwear is causing problems so you can walk long distances with them but lightweight and great for skanky showers!- dqduncan

Shoes for wide feet, want to avoid problems with zero drop shoes
Keen Newport devotee as well. Found them on day 10 Of first Camino in 2015; been living in them since. Did el Norte in a pair. back to Francés in 2 weeks with a pair. Great in the heat. Wear socks. Few stones enter but it happens occasionally; just use your pile or hand to push back the heel so...- dqduncan

Sandals ???
I brought Birkenstocks with ankle strap. Bad idea. Mailed them to myself in Santiago. Too heavy and not stable enough. But cool for my hot feet. And that was the key issue.
