    My new backpack from Gregory

I had a Gregory for many years and Caminos. Great backpack.

    What does "good shoes" mean?

Personally I think if the Lowas are comfortable then wear those.

    Am I packing too much?

I didn't actually read your list but the 2 golf balls stood out. If you're bringing golf balls then you're bringing too much.

Please bring a sleeping bag of some kind

Yes, agree. I just got back from a couple of weeks on the Camino Frances, I was suprised how many people I saw who hadn't brought any type of sleeping bag. They were sleeping in their rain gear, covering themselves with disposable sheets, it was ridiculous. Where do people get the idea that you...

I compiled a set of instructions for this here. It might be useful to someone. https://www.caminoguide.net/pages/how-to-open-KML-files-on-an-android-or-an-iphone-smartphone~IVAR

Unicycle, electric, as a luggage carrier.

Walk the Camino, carry your stuff, if you complicate things you'll end up regretting it.

Is www.caminoapp.net is safe to download.

caminoapp.net is my website, as others have pointed out. I created it because I wanted to have a short URL which brings you straight to a link to either the Android or iPhone app store depending what kind of phone you open the URL on. All my apps are available through the app stores for both...

    Sleeping solution... still confused!

I always carry a summer sleeping bag in summer, if I'm too hot I open the zip. Other suggestions are also fine but I like the simplicity of just having a sleeping bag.

I use Maps.me. It's free and available of both iPhone and Android.

Is it OK to keep your pack on your top bunk with you?

The chemicals are more dangerous than the bedbugs.

Is it OK to keep your pack on your top bunk with you?

It sounds like a great adventure! I walked the Inca Trail once. Great experience. But the Camino's better!

Is it OK to keep your pack on your top bunk with you?

You strike me as a first-timer (and apologies if you're not). I'll tell you why. Once you've been walking a couple of weeks you'll have your routine which works well for you and you'll realise that all the things you worried about when you were planning now seem trivial.

    WhatsApp

I use it a lot. What I like about it is its simplicity and reliability. Unfortunately, Facebook bought it a while ago. They probably have plans to bloat it out with Facebooky features and advertising. Pity. There's always Signal, or as others have mentioned, Viber.

    Gear shop in Seville?

Decathlon in Camas is the best place for gear in Seville. There's a small branch in the city centre but the Camas one has a much bigger selection. Regarding flooding before Camas, the Amigos have waymarked an alternative, I'm attaching a map which shows it. Mmmm, for some reason it won't let...
