US International Phone plan or Spanish SIM card while on the Camino?
If your international plan has "unlimited data" that slows down to 3G after that first 20GB, then that's really just a "20GB data" plan in practice. You can do much better with a local SIM. If you want to judge for yourself, here's a page with historical weather data for a late-March start on the Frances. It's pretty comfortable walking weather for most, but I suppose that if you're used to South African temperatures, you might find it chilly.- krystianw

I'm going to cast my vote along with everyone else on these few things. 1. Water bladder seems like overkill for October 2. Are you sure you need both the cashmere and down jacket? 3. Fleece in Pamplona and beyond
I think that if you didn't use it in the Pyrenees, you probably won't use it. Looking at historical averages, the weather might be a bit colder towards the end, in Galicia. But not substantially.- krystianw
