I know there has been lots of discussion about the altus poncho. I have lookedo at the sizing suggestions and wonder if anyone has comments about their accuracy. I am 5 feet 5 inches tall and weigh 112 pounds. My new pack is 36 litres. Supposedly a small would be appropriate. I am most concerned...
I checked at the post office and the cost of mailing from Canada would nearly double the cost of the skirt. I think you could get a new one on sale shipped from the US at a lower cost.
Question about sizing. Anyone have experience with a small? I am about 5 feet 5 inches and weigh 113 pounds. I am concerned about it being long enough.
I have a Deuter 40+10 pack and the frame which keeps the pack away from your back makes it too large for carryon on Air Canada. After losing it temporarily and having to delay my start by a day on my last Camino, I have downsized to an Osprey 36l without the frame. It has yet to be tested,!
I had to check my Deuter 40 because it has the back frame and wouldn't fit into the measuring device. Flight delays, rerouting from Toronto and had to delay my start by a day as I waited for my pack to catch up with me in Spain!
The Vasque boots I wore on my first CF are still in use for dog walking. The fact that I encountered only a few days of rain no doubt contributed to their long life!
I love the zip off pants and I have taken 2 pairs each time. One pair from my first Camino now has 2 tone legs as I wore and washed the shorts much more than the legs! Two suggestions -make sure the pants have a zip or Velcro opening at the bottom so you can take the legs off without removing...
