    It was definitely better - in the first day (which was obviously too long) their legs were hurting a bit, so we took it easy for the next few days. In the end I had a feeling they can walk 30kms a day easily. For kids their age it is definitely not boring - they find mushrooms, rocks, animals...

    That's a great plan! We did 16-17kms a day on average, the longest was 27km. We also did 2 rest days (sort of) with only 4kms each.
