Yes during the mountain legs I did pull out my light wind jacket and even my zip up fleece - on Hospitales as it was a beautiful sunny day but very cool and windy at the peak! I also just brought a liner and have been plenty warm at night but I assume that’ll be changing soon- DMSyracuse

Sometimes booking the night before when we are reaching a town that might only have 1 or 2 albergues. Have never run into a situation of not finding a bed. Only booked oviedo and Bodenya albergues prior to my trip otherwise basically taking it day by day.- DMSyracuse

Just got back home from the Primitivo
One of my all-time fav places - Florence. My daughter studied abroad there for a semester in college and was such a great experience for her. I loved starting my via Di Francesco there!- DMSyracuse

Great to read this report @marcoberna as my first planned day on the Primitivo is coming up very soon - September 1st. I'm thinking this route may be comparable in difficulty to the Via Di Francesco route I did 3 years ago (Firenze to Assisi) - at least the statistics look very similar to me...- DMSyracuse
