The Breton St James Association deals with the Normand and Breton section of the way called "Voie des Plantagenêts" between Mont-St-Michel and Via Turonensis.

Because not a lot of pilgrims walk on the Breton St James ways the tourism offices doesn't have accurate information about them.
The best way, in Brittany, to get advice is to ask the Breton Association of the friends of St-James of Compostela about them.

There are more dedicated "pilgrims' hostels" or "gites" than this one used by oursonpolaire in Antrain on the "Voie des Capitales" between Mont-St-Michel and Clisson in Brittany.
The other ones are : Messac, Langon, Redon, Blain, Guenrouet.
With the 2 youth hostels in Rennes and Nantes, 8...

I think the best way for English pilgrims to reach the 'Chemin de Tours/Via Turonensis' is to walk through Normandy (from Barfleur / Cherbourg on the 'Chemin des Anglais' to Mont-St-Michel )...

- 1000 km by walking on the Pantagenêts Way through Angers,
- 950 km by walking on the Capital cities Way through Rennes and Nantes.
