She is asking about Le Puy en Velay route, not Spain. I saw much fewer open pharmacies on this route to Cahors. We were looking for one as I got tendintis and we needed more strapping than we had brought with us. I was surprised at how difficult it was to find one, and then started to look out...
We walked in April/May 2022. It is probably a good idea to book ahead at Le Puy. We stayed two nights and particularly enjoyed Nomad. In Estiang, we had a lovely dinner at Aux Armes de Estiang. In Figeac, I can highly recommend La Cuisine du Marche Restaurant - we had asparagus Hollandaise...

We did that and I was so pleased that we broke it into 3 days. I was so pleased to arrive in Montbonnet. Out Gite placed signs every km counting down the distance and it kept me going. There are some pretty long, steep, strenuous sections over those 3 days and they are also very beautiful so if...
I started booking for my April start back in October 2022 and I found that a few places were either full or not taking people until mid-May which required me to spend many days contacting other places with no luck and rearranging the towns that we were stopping in. It has taken many months to...
We were to have walked it from mid-March to mid-April 2020. Covid killed that dream but I am quite pleased as we followed the weather that we would have had and it rained and snowed heavily for much of that time. I also found that it was essential to pre-book the whole route as there was very...
