Hi. I walked from Le Puy to Conques last October. I'm planning to resume in a couple of weeks with the aim of getting to Roncesvalles (or as far as I can). My pilgrim credential is half full with stamps. Does anyone know if I can get a new one from Conques onwards?
PS I know that the credential isn't necessary in France and I could get the stamps in my Miam Mum Dodo guidebook. But it is a very nice keepsake and it inspired me to pick up where I left off.
PPS For some reason I didn't get email alerts about answers to a earlier question of mine so I was rather late in replying. Apologies to those who took the time to respond. I'll be much more attentive to the forum this time!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Of course you can get a new one.
Not sure that stamps collected on MiamMiam Dodo would be accepted exactly as a credential... A credential may be required in France to enter donativos. My guess is that hospitaleros expect a credential rather than the guidebook.
Try to walk "Voie du Célé" if you can (this requires booking accomodations in advance), and Bon Chemin !

Thanks for your prompt reply! My doubt is where exactly I can get one en route (between Conques and Roncesvalles).

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I am sure you can get one in all non-profit albergues, in cathedrals, and possibly in tourism offices.
On Gronze, the mention "Expiden la Credencial" means that you can get a credential there. For instance in Abbaye Ste Foy at Conques.

Thanks for the info. I'll definitely check out Gronze mentions.

I know for sure that you can get one at the tourist office in Cahors, also at the l'Octroi as you enter that town, at the pilgrim's house at the Abbey in Moissac, and at the pilgrim welcome at the Cathedral in Aire-sur-Adour. I would contact the Office de Tourisme of Conques-Marcillac [email : contact@tourisme-conques.fr] as you can likely get one in Conques, possibly at the Abbaye Ste Foy.

You can get a créanciale at the abbey in Conques with their lovely pilgrim stamp ... and have it blessed as well ... pas de soucis ...

You mention Conques🤔 You can get a new créanciale at the Abbey Church there in the evening when they have the pilgrim benediction / blessing I think at around 19h30 ... or thereabouts ... OR from the Abbey bookshop «librarie Saint-Norbert» during the day ... it comes with their lovely pilgrim stamp and costs around €5 ... so it shouldn’t break the bank ...

I'm starting the Le Puy in early July hopefully. In my efforts to communicate with the gite owners, I am using email as my French is almost non existent. I'm getting lots of replies outlining...
Sorry I have been too tired to post anything. Here is a very brief summary and a few pics. Le Puy to Figeac - 250 km approx - 14 days - average 17.8 km per day (top speed for me 😂) Beautiful...
I am trying to find a Mobile App that can help me find trails from Le puy Valley to Cahors. Would appreciate good advice and guidance.
