If the license allows/includes live-in hospitaler@ 100€/year would most probably be the lowest rent in the whole Europe ;)
But still it is an auction so the price might get higher. For such nice place it's a bargain nevertheless.
As I remember correctly from 2014 the situation was kind of the same as with polideportivo in Cercedilla. After they finish their courses and trainings you can use it. For Chantada it was 10PM I think which was a little bit too late for me to wait that long for a shower :)
I would like to try polideportivo in Chantada. It can't be much more weird as Pension Yoel :D
But then I must say I really enjoy unusual places... Both to sleep and to eat/drink ;)
Agree, but I also can't understand someone couldn't get a decent meal in A Rua and Quiroga (or not even a tapas). So many places to choose from and hardly all of them closed ;)
And if this is his experience it is just that. Mine is from 2014 - 5 years and a half ago and there were plenty of...
That's interesting because when I read the initial article I first though about old school in O Savinao that has already been mentioned as possible location of new albergue. In another thread some months or a year ago I think.
But location in Diomondi is excellent. If you bring your own food. Or...

As stupid or funny as it sounds but...
Two sellos per day has nothing to do with Galicia as such but with last 100km (200km for bicigrinos) to Santiago.
But it's also true that all these 100km places are in Galicia :)
It is possible. I did just a hundred meters of that killer Roman road uphill (I had a feeling I'd die right there) and then switched to the asphalt winding road because of the scorching heat. It's longer for couple of kilometers but much easier.
You don't really have to search for a special place to get the sello because every post office, pension, albergue, bar, restaurant, train station, bakery, police station etc. has one although they might not be of a Camino purpose design. But 2 sellos per day from Chantada on Invierno would do...
Yes there was definitely one female member of the forum (I think in May or even April) that slept there but I just can't remember who that was. I vaguely remember that she was maybe even the first one at all to overnight there...
