Jenni I leave for Spain from Australia in 10 days and wondered how you got on with the QR code? I’m also verifying that Australians only need 2 vaccinations plus a booster and don’t require a PCR test.
Unfortunately you won’t be able to do so. If you look at election timetable the Declaration of candidate nominations doesn’t happen until 22 April and preferences for Senate will be after then.
I will be doing the Camino during the election. Our problem is that we will be on the road and not near an Australian diplomatic post or have an address for a postal vote. In addition we leave Australia before May 9 when you can prepoll so unfortunately we will miss out which is very frustrating...
I walked Norte in 2017 but will stop in different towns and see how it’s changed. Will definitely report back on Ruta del Mar dos Faros. Enjoy Portuguese are you starting in Lisboa?
Absolutely time. I have booked a flight for 27th April and will start walking on May 1 from San Sebastián. We will walk Norte to Ribadeo then Ruta del Mar and Camino dos Faros to Finisterre. Then into Santiago
I’m continuing to plan my next Camino and know I will get there sometime. Luckily at the moment we have avoided lockdown in Tasmania so trying to get out and about and enjoy our local walks.
