Hi,

If I choose to walk Camino way in stages through several times, which are the best places to end the walking journey? Because I am available only to take around 10 days of holiday, I was wondering how would I determine where to finish my walking and head back home? I was thinking to go for 9 days until I reach Najera and then go visit La Rioja and then catch a closest Airport. But the thing is that Closest airports(Santander, Zarragoza and Valladolid) are far away and I need to take several changes of bus/train to get there which might be challenging as I am going on this walk by myself. What should I do and how should I organize my walk as long as I can do this journey in parts. Thanks! By the way, I need to travel to London.

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
All mayor towns, think Pamplona, Logrono, Burgos f.e. have good to excellent bus (and some have also train) connections to Madrid which in turn has good flight connections to just about anywhere, London included. So, in most cases one bus + one flight should do the trick. Buen Camino! SY

From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
My first time on the Camino started in St. Jean Pied de Port and ended in Logrono in 2011. I was not prepared or well equipped, that being said it took me 9 days. In Logrono you will find yourself at the gateway to the Rioja Valley, you can visit and stay in Laguardia and take wine tours. The Bilbao airport is just a short distance away.

Thank you SY, this broaden my options, well done! GP x

Thanks for your comment. I am absolutely interested in La Rioja, and would love to go and try the wine tasting, that sounds gorgeous! x

If you are in Logrono tread yourself to some sort of private/no curfew accommodation and experience the http://www.callelaurel.org/en ideally with some Spanish speaking pilgrim friends - Great fun! SY
