I have to admit that 7 weeks away from starting my camino is the first time this particular saints day has felt important but today it feels really exciting!

Beautiful concert and festival Mass this evening at Iglesia de Santa Maria in Carrion de los Condes -- the bells rang out, the crowds packed in, four guitarists played Vivaldi and Boccarini. The Meseta rejoices to have the camino through its heart, and St. James its patron.
