Hi Guys

Very late in the day but we are setting off on a route tomorrow (23/11/2018) after some last minute changes.
Be fore we finalise the route we are taking I just have a few questions that I know this awesome forum
will help with.

1) Is the route clearly marked from Fisterra to SdC?

2) Will there be accommodation open along the route from Fisterra to SdC?

3) Will there be accommodation open along the route from A Coruna to SdC?

Thanks

I walked the other way last week - Santiago to Muxia and then Fisterra. My impression was that signposting for the eastward walk was poor in comparison but others who have actually walked that way will have more relevant experience. Many of the private albergues are closed but the Xunta albergues are open year round. Though short closures for maintenance or the like can still happen: I had to find a private room last week because the Fisterra municipal was closed for 4 days. Last week there were still quite a few people walking to/from Fisterra, Muxia and Santiago.

Thanks for the reply.
I am in Fisterra at the moment and have seen a few people arriving yesterday.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
The short answer is yes, yes & yes! I walked too from Santiago to Muxia a month or so ago & the route now has new bollards(mojones) in both directions. It's superbly signed & it's such a beautiful walk too. The English Way has it's moments too but is so beautiful as the way to/ from Muxia/Finisterre.
