During this time of year I always get a little queasy of all the well intended but (to my taste) very tacky Christmas music. I have trouble embracing corniness. As an antidote I usually turn to a few centuries ago, and for all those who maybe feel the same way: a merry and melodious Christmas. May you all fare well next year.

Yeah, and schmaltz is even worse.
