The pictures aren't too clear, but you'll get the idea.
Not everyone has a bell as a souvenir from their camino, but we walked the Primitivo with a guy who had six of them hanging on his pack - one for each camino he had completed. Before we learnt his name was Alberto, he was known as Mr Jingle Bells to us - then he became Alberto Bells, and finally just Our Good Friend Alberto. On our final day together he gave us one each to remember him by and we jingled our way out to Fisterra with them hanging off our packs.
The pictureframe I picked up at a second-hand store and did not even notice the pilgrim on it until I got home!
The cork comes from a good bottle of red I shared with hubby when he was with us briefly.
The ribbon bracelet was given by another Primitivo family member, and the arrow badge - we were given so many of them we could start our own shop!
The money and yellow water container are a reminder that this was a fundraising walk for charity: water.
The compass - well that's not the one that saved our bacon a few days - but I'll want to use the real thing on future hikes!
The two credencials were "extras". We had our own homemade credencials that we filled, but the kids wanted to use the Salvador and Fisterra ones too - and now I'm glad we did!
