Camino Sept/Oct 2015
How fast time flies, I close my eyes and can still relive the Camino in my mind.

Sept. 2nd 2015 I started my "adventure of a lifetime", walking the Camino Frances from SJPP to Santiago de Compostella.
The first day, I hiked up and over the Pyrenees from SJPP to Roncesvalles in the same day.
Yes it can be done!
27km of the most beautiful scenery I had ever seen.
My favorite day on the Camino. I met some amazing people, and consider many of them family. And thanks to social media, we've kept in touch from half way around the world.

For those of you about to begin your "adventure of a lifetime" remember to keep a diary, take photos, and blog if you can. I read so many blogs and it helped prepare me tremendously. Thank you to all my predecessors who blogged and good luck to all those about to walk The Camino.

Buen Camino!

I think we might have met in a tapas bar in Pamplona. I remember meeting someone from Maryland there. I was tapas bar hoping with my daughter Stephanie, and with friends we met from Ireland Padraig and his daughter Neve. We met so many wonderful people along the way, some will remain friends for life.

It's really wonderful to look back on an amazing journey, the memories will never be lost. I am going to Exeter on Tuesday to meet up with some peregrines from the South West, I've never met them before but we all have the camino in common. The day of our meet is the exact date I started my CF last year. Such wonderful memories.
Can't wait to get on the Spanish road again.
