I have always used Vodafone but Movistar are the original telco for Spain and so they generally have the best coverage but it does vary around the country. How about Movistar
I live in Spain and I can confirm it is deserved. However they are the main provider and have the best reception.I have always used Vodafone but Movistar are the original telco for Spain and so they generally have the best coverage but it does vary around the country.
Movistar have a reputation for poor customer service. I don't know if that reputation is deserved.

Hi! I brought with me Movistar sim card and it worked nicely.I heard that Orange has unstable reception. Otherwise, eSIM is super convenient. How about Movistar or Vodafone?
I am a week into the hike, Pamplona tonight. My Orange Sim, bought and fitted in Paris, is operating faultlessly. When I crossed into Spain, the phone failed for a few minutes. Suddenly an error came upn error銀色路線沿線哪家網絡提供商提供更強的信號和更穩定的接收(包括語音通話)?

Nice feedback, very useful.SIM
I bought a couple of SIMs online before my VdlP this year.
Vodafone and Movistar.
My research indicated that Movistar provided the best coverage.
But on arrival in Spain, Vodafone was easier to get started.
So I used that one.
Good coverage all the way.
Hotel
As for Hotels. Hotel Simon is very popular with Pilgrims.
And a great location! Very Central.
But sadly I did not sleep that well there.
I just got a bad room I think.
Ground floor with lots of plumbing / whooshing / gurgling noises through the night.
But I would use it again, and the staff were great. Very helpful.

I'm thinking about my internet usage, which includes uploading podcasts and YouTube videos, using Google Maps, and searching for information. Based on your experience, how much data do you recommend?
i didn’t use as much as I expected.
maybe 100 ~ 150 GB all up.
but I upload a lot of photos and video.
as ascplanning approach check your file sizes.
i.e. 2 x 4 min videos per day each of 2 GB each for 30 days = 120 GB total.
I think I started with 20 GB.
depending on the carrier you use, you can top up as you go at supermarkets and Tabacs. I used vodaphone. They also have an app that allows you to monitor usage and top up online.
bev careful of the conditions though. For example if you don’t top up within a certain time period you can lose ant existing credit,
phone call minutes were low use. Just a few calls to book accomodation. I normally used WhatsApp which of course uses data, not minutes.
