Can anyone recommend private rooms in Vilanouva de Arousa? We are a group of 5 and will be catching the boat. Thank you

A Salazón is a very nice albergue that has private rooms and is ‘almost a hotel’, as it was described to us by a staff member.

We also stayed in A Salalzón and would recommend it. I recall the owner being nice and helpful.

We (family of four) stayed in Apartamentos Poniente and it was really nice. Beautiful view of the river estuary and sunset, a pretty terrace, a friendly owner who welcomed us, and it was great to have a break from albergues for a night.

We, too, stayed at A Salazón. Has both modern private rooms and a dorm. It was truly just a two minute walk to where we caught the A Mare boat for the ride up the river. A very pleasant stay there.

Another vote for A Salazon - well located, comfortable, modern private rooms with some charm, the owner is indeed lovely, and I believe we did our laundry for free!

We really prefer private rooms and there are 5 us us, but it sounds like A Salazon might be the best choice.
