Hi We biking from Porto from July 10th. Do we have to book accommodation or can we wing it ?

I would say book the first alberque and look how busy it is on your journey .

Take it a day at the time and you will do just fine.

Hi Will
There is plenty of accommodation on this route. Winging it gives max flexibility.

Booking can be useful if you are planning any long days with late afternoon arrival, particularly closer to Santiago and any coastal holiday towns.

I walked in May 2016 and albergues fikled up. There really is not that much flexibility on this route, unless an extra 10km is no biggy for you. It would have done me in.
