Airport bus to SdC Airport: buy ticket beforehand?

I was wondering whether I should pre-purchase bus tickets from SdC to SdC Airport, or just buy them on the day of our departure?

Just pay on the bus.

Yes, just pay on the bus. I've done it 3 times and have had no problem, (but I do try to get to the station early.).

I just returned from Santiago last week after walking the CP. A very convenient place to catch the airport bus is Plaza Galicia. A schedule is posted there and it is very easy to find. As I remember there are busses every half hour. The cost is 3 Euros, pay on the bus.
