There is a place run by some Koreans - never been there, but their website is here: http://cachinyeon.wixsite.com/madrid .

I met someone last year who had stayed there and said it was very nice. I just checked out its address and see that it's near a metro stop, Barrio del Pilar. Not in a central location, but the Madrid metro is a great system.

For anyone walking the Camino de Madrid, this place would be an easy walk to the Plaza de Castilla, which is where some people start. But if you wanted to start at the church, getting to Sol on the metro would not be that difficult, but would require a few changes.

If you want an albergue in Madrid, I'd take this place hands down over any of the youth hostels located in more central and more charming parts of the city. The typical youth hostel resident has very different nocturnal habits than your average pilgrim.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
