back on the Frances in May 2022
As a lot of you know I am back on the Camino Frances in May. were aiming for Burgos and then getting the train/bus to Madrid to fly home. so.... am looking for some really good albergue/hostel/small hotel recommendations in Madrid, in the Old town if possible.

thanks

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

If you do not mind sleeping in an albergue style room with 5 or 6 other people, TOC Hostel is really good. It is right by the Sol Metro, lots of restaurants, bars etc., very quiet, super clean. Each room has a bathroom, lockers for your pack, curtain, light, outlet for your bed, sheets and blankets, full kitchen a bar and you can get breakfast at a reasonable price. But just walk outside and breakfast is there. You can take a train from the airport to Metro Sol in about 40 minutes.
