Another church relic damaged by restorer

BBC News has just reported on the 'restoration' by an amateur of a sculpture in Estella, no doubt this disastrous result will, like the other similar amateur work bring in even more tourists. The figure now looks like a Lego play figure. Hope the link works as I am not very good at this tech stuff unless it is pictures.

Oh dear. That is a terrible job. They should just leave the things alone. They look centuries old because they are. Don't like it, make a new one, but do not mess with the old ones.
Yes, Saint George now looks like a character out of a Disney Toy Story movie, ha ha.
