Any experiences with the Timp 1.5 ( Altra)

This may be too early to ask , the Timp 1.5 from Altra only came out recently but has anyone used them yet? I bought the Olympus 2.0 a few months ago and after taking a little while getting used to them I really like them now but the one thing I would alter is the sole stack height, it feels to springy, the Timp1.5 has less than the Olympus but more than the Lone Peak, other initial reports I have seen that it feels for the reviewers to have the most wide toe box of the Altra they are using, this is what attracts me. I usually wear mids but I am possibly thinking of working on the flexibility in my ankles so any reservations I had about using Low/shoes on any Camino would be lessened. This is the Timp 1.5 and not the Timp 1.0 I am looking at, which is apperantly totally different in style and dimensions. Thank you in advance for any replies.

I wore the Timp 1.5 on the Ingles in May. They were fine but I am now trying the Olympus 3 to see if I like the extra cushioning and stability. I also have The Lone Peak 4.
 
The Altra Timp 1.5 are immediately comfortable with no break in period required at least for my feet. As you mentioned, they have more cushioning than the Lone Peak but the Timps also have no rock plate. I believe the LP 4.0 now have the rock plate.

Thank you for your reply, one of the reviews I read from the web said that the Timp 1.5 seemed to have more width in the toe box than the Olympus but less volume regarding the depth of the shoe at the front, does this sound right to you?

I haven't noticed a difference in width but I have a narrow foot. The Timp is so high volume for me that I have two insoles in it. The Olympus does seem lower in the toe box which is ok for everyday wear but I would go up half a size for a Camino. Unfortunately the Olympus seems to really press against my Achilles which is too bad as I really like it otherwise.

I have worn several versions of Altras hiking in rocky mtns. I have tried on the LP 4.0 but have not spent enough time in them to evaluate. So far, I am liking the Timp 1.5 as they feel more cushioned than my previous LPs and feel more stable on uneven ground than the very soft Hokas. However, to me the LP 4.0 has more room in the toe box than the Timp 1.5 if that is your primary concern.
